Dr. Sylvia Rondon, OSU Integrated Pest Management
Dr. Rondon is the OSU Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Center Director and a Professor and Extension Entomology Specialist affiliated with the Department of Crop and Soil Science. Dr. Rondon received her B.A. and M.S. in Entomology at the Agraria University in Lima, Peru. She received her Ph.D in Crop Sciences with a major in Entomology and IPM from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2005, Dr. Rondon joined OSU where her position description included Research and Extension; where she also managed the Irrigated Agricultural Entomology Program.
Dr Rondon's area of expertise is IPM, emphasizing insect ecology, insect distribution, population dynamic insect plant interations, and biological and chemical control.
